Do we need to book and how
far in advance?
Advance booking is essential
for weekends & during all the peak periods, at all other
times we recommend that you phone to check availability.
We use a modern computerised booking
system and pitches are allocated at the time of booking.
Specific pitches can not be requested or guaranteed, we
reserve the right to move pitches, however we will always
try to allocate the pitch of your choice or as close to
it as possible.
Is there electric hook up
on all pitches?
Yes all our pitches have 16 AMP hook up facilities.
Are dogs accepted on the site?
Yes they are, despite the fact that we do not have a dog
walk on site. We therefore request that all dogs are kept
on a lead at all times. All dogs must be taken off site
to be exercised.
Does the site have disabled
facilities?
Yes, we have a disabled raised toilet and shower room incorporating
a lowered wash hand basin and hair dryer, access is limited
by means of a separate key that is only available by request.
Are you close to the beach?
Yes we are, we have our own access gate directly onto the
seafront promenade, see the site plan.
Is there a shop on site?
No, however there is a supermarket at the bottom of Winthorpe
Avenue (approx 200 yards) which carries a good general selection
of everyday items. Incorporated within the store is a post
office counter, newsagent, lottery terminal and off licence.
Do
you have a clubhouse or any entertainment on site?
No. We are ideally situated, with several pubs offering
entertainment & bar meals etc, cafes, fish and chip
shops and amusements all within easy walking distance.
Do you accept tents?
Sorry, we no longer accept tents.
Do you hire out any caravans?
No, all the static caravans are privately owned and are
not for hire. We do not hire any touring vans or motor vans
Can you walk
or cycle to Skegness or Ingoldmells?
Along the sea front promenade it is possible to walk
or cycle towards Ingoldmells for miles visiting places like
Chapel
St. Leonards on the way. Unfortunately towards Skegness
the promenade is interrupted at the Golf Course, however
you can walk all the way through to Skegness Town Centre.
Is there a regular bus service
to Skegness or Ingoldmells?
Several buses run regularly from the bottom of Winthorpe
Avenue for Skegness town centre and to Ingoldmells &
Chapel
st Leonards. In the season they run at approximately
ten minute intervals.
